Summary

This article, based on the latest literary sources, studies such a topical issue of tourism theory and practice as the peculiarities of gastronomic tourism in Georgia. Gastronomy, as an object of intangible cultural heritage, is actively used today not only in the tourism business, but also represents an important part of the “economy of impressions”. Gastronomy is a field of culture that is not only popular today, but also plays the role of a source of profit. .The implementation of the conclusions and recommendations obtained during the study will make it possible to solve general gastronomic problems, as well as to attempt to determine the importance of Georgian cuisine and wine for foreign visitors. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the complex study of the study of international marketing of Georgian cuisine in modern economic conditions. The importance of Georgian gastronomic culture in Georgia and based on the experience of countries around the world is assessed, and popularization strategies are outlined to increase awareness in the international market. The practical significance of the work is that the conclusions developed by the authors will contribute to the organization of combined tours in Georgia, which are also considered in the context of cultural tourism. Along with interest in food culture, tourists deepen their knowledge about a particular nation.
