The article discusses the features of the use of game methods in teaching Slavic languages. The importance of gaming technologies as an effective pedagogical tool that helps to increase students' motivation and enhance their cognitive activity is emphasized. The article analyzes various types of game methods used in the process of learning Slavic languages, such as lexical, phonetic, role-playing and communicative games. It is noted that gaming technologies help to create a favorable communicative environment, promote the development of speech skills, creative thinking and independence of students. Special attention is paid to the role of game methods in overcoming linguistic and psychological barriers when learning a foreign language. It is concluded that the use of gaming technologies increases the effectiveness of the educational process and contributes to the formation of students' communicative competence.
