Summary

The article examines the influence of cultural factors on the process of learning a foreign language. The article analyzes the relationship between language and culture, as well as the role of the cultural component in the formation of students' communicative competence. Special attention is paid to the importance of the cultural context in the process of learning a foreign language. It is concluded that learning a foreign language is impossible without getting to know the culture of the people who speak this language.
