Summary

The article presents a theoretical analysis of financial anxiety in the pre-sleep period. Eight key factors of pre-sleep financial anxiety are identified and described: frequency and prevalence, intensity and duration, emotional-affective component, rumination, control over financial thoughts, influence on the process of falling asleep and sleep quality, next-day consequences, and uncertainty regarding the future. The study emphasizes the importance of further empirical investigation of this phenomenon and the development of specialized self-regulation techniques tailored specifically to the pre-sleep period.
