Summary

This paper investigates the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration on the Georgian labor market and the resulting structural shifts in employment. The primary objective of the study is to determine the extent to which AI technologies pose a threat to job stability or, conversely, foster productivity growth and the emergence of new professional roles within a developing economy. The research utilizes methods of theoretical modeling and sectoral analysis to identify high-risk areas—specifically finance and services—and sectors where AI serves a complementary role. The findings indicate that, at this stage, the impact of AI in Georgia is more significantly reflected in the transformation of work processes rather than in mass unemployment. However, a notable risk of skills mismatch is identified within the labor force. The concluding section provides strategic recommendations for the adaptation of the educational system and labor market policies.
