Tiger nut (Cyperus esculentus L.) is gaining recognition as a climate-resistant crop with nutritional, ecological, and agronomic value. This article presents the results of our research and a comprehensive field evaluation of five varieties grown using drip irrigation in the Southern Steppe of Ukraine. The study focuses on growth dynamics, morphological parameters, phenological phases, and the effect of microbial biopreparations on tuber yield and biochemical composition. The results demonstrate significant varietal differences in vegetation duration, tuber morphology, and sensitivity to biostimulants. The combined use of Azotofit, Groundfix, and Organic Balance preparations resulted in the highest yield increase (up to 6.37%) and increased dry matter accumulation. These results confirm the feasibility of including the little-known (niche) crop of Tiger nut in adaptive farming systems for semi-arid and arid regions
