Summary

Mobile applications for explaining the ingredient composition of food products are designed to scan and process composition information from product packaging. They help consumers quickly evaluate a product while shopping. Difficult reading conditions on the package, unclear ingredient names, foreign-language labels on imported goods, limited knowledge of the product among store staff, and lack of time to analyze the composition make it difficult for the average Ukrainian consumer to choose a product. Therefore, such applications can help consumers make quick and well-informed decisions when selecting quality food products.
