Summary

The article examines the phenomenon of artistic-performative interpretation as a key mean of realizing the figurative content of a musical work in the context of modern piano art. The specifics of the modern piano repertoire, characterized by a departure from traditional tonal systems and the introduction of complex rhythm-intonation structures, are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to revealing the essence of associative modeling and contextual analysis methods as effective tools for forming an interpretive concept. On the example of the works of modern composers (O. Shchetynsky, B. Filts, G. Ligeti, S. Lunyov) methodical aspects of the realization of «structural lyricism», sonorous effects and conceptual imagery are revealed. It is proved that modern interpretation is a synthesis of intellectual analysis, individual intuition and innovative sound production technologies
