THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF PRIMARY SCHOOL IN WARTIME: EDUCATIONAL, DIDACTIC, AND MANAGERIAL ASPECTS

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the functioning of the primary school educational environment under wartime conditions, examining educational, didactic, and managerial aspects. It is substantiated that wartime challenges significantly transform the content, forms, and methods of organizing the educational process, emphasizing the need to create a safe, psychologically supportive, and value-oriented environment in accordance with the conceptual principles of the New Ukrainian School. In terms of education, the focus is on fostering resilience, emotional competence, civic responsibility, patriotism, and mutual support among young learners. The significance of partnership pedagogy, moral and spiritual education, and the integration of national and cultural values into the educational process is highlighted. The role of the teacher as a facilitator of emotional support, a mediator of safe dialogue, and a model of moral resilience is emphasized. Cooperation with parents is considered crucial for stabilizing students’ emotional well-being and creating an atmosphere of trust. In the didactic dimension, the article examines the organization of blended and remote learning, the use of digital technologies, and flexible lesson planning considering safety constraints and potential interruptions in the learning process. The possibilities of a competency-based approach, differentiation, and individualized learning in unstable educational conditions are analyzed. The benefits of integrated teaching, interdisciplinary connections, and practice-oriented tasks as means of maintaining students’ motivation are discussed.
From a managerial perspective, the article highlights mechanisms of crisis management, quality assurance, and coordination among administration, teachers, parents, and the community. The importance of strategic planning, digital communication, and flexible managerial decisions in maintaining school stability is emphasized, alongside professional support and development of teachers’ digital and emotional resilience. The article concludes that the integrated combination of educational, didactic, and managerial strategies ensures adaptability, humanistic orientation, and effectiveness of the primary school educational environment under wartime conditions, supporting the preservation of educational quality and the holistic development of children.
